“It would not be much of a universe if it wasn’t home to the people you love” – Steven Hawking
I have lived in Florida for almost 16 years, almost 1000 miles from my parents who are still in Pennsylvania. Between talking on the phone and Facetime, it usually doesn’t feel like they are far away whatsoever. Though when they visit, I realize just how much I miss having them living nearby, and I cry every time they pack up to leave.
My parents just got on the plane home, but I’m already looking through our photos from their trip here.
Even with all of those miles in between, Maxwell doesn’t seem to know the difference. He lights up the second he sees them, reaching out and calling their names giggling. He just knows he has lots of grandparents that adore him. This weekend we did the Disney thing, spent some time on my in-law’s boat, and bummed around the house and went on walks together.
I just wanted to share a few of my favorite pictures from the weekend because they make me happy, and I’m so grateful that Maxwell has so much love in his life. (Now I need to work on getting all of Max’s cousins to come down to visit!)
