Last weekend Max and I took advantage of Orlando’s “cool” weather in the 70’s and headed out to the Southern Hill Farms Fall Festival in Clermont. It is just a few miles from SR 429 between Clermont and Winter Garden, but you are truly in the middle of the small rolling hills and grassy Florida countryside. Admission is $10 per car and it got crowded pretty quickly, but with good reason.
In addition to the hayrides, playground and huge pumpkin patch there are tons of food trucks, live music and tractors to check out. You can also buy tickets for some other kids activities like bounce houses, a petting zoo, rock climbing wall, and a few other rides and attractions. Wrist bands for unlimited attractions are $10 for small children, and $15 for the bigger kiddos. Bring a wagon to help haul out your pumpkins, as parking isn’t right next to the patch, but its a great spot for some family photos you will treasure.
This is Max’s second year visiting the farm, and we hope to come back each year. I just wanted to share a few (OK, maybe a lot) of my favorite fall photos from our visit to Southern Hill Farms Fall Festival below:
The fall festival is still going on next weekend, so check it out. Click HERE for more information, location, etc.
