I’ve always been an overly sentimental girl. I keep old ticket stubs in drawers, listen to a meaningful playlist, and love to receive a handwritten note in the mail. As we are rapidly approaching baby girl’s arrival, it’s not lost on me that this is Maxwell’s very last Christmas as the baby of our family.
In our years of trying for a sibling for Maxwell, all I could think of was how much I wanted him to have a partner in crime. Now that our prayers have been answered, I can’t help to reflect upon how much Max’s life will forever change. He has been nothing but excited about the idea of his baby sister arriving, but I know his world will be forever changed.
Even though this big old belly is getting heavy and I’m getting more tired by the day, I’m determined to make Maxwell’s last Christmas as the baby of the family am amazing one.
We started out the season with the Christmas tree lighting and parade in Winter Garden, ran into Santa Claus a few times, caught a ride on the Polar Express, and took a sleigh ride through Fort Wilderness, and now we are anxiously awaiting the big day!Below I’m sharing some of my favorite holiday photos from this year, and just thinking about how another little critter will be in these photos next year.
